Bell Peppers - Fort Pierce, FL Demonstration
Data Collected on 04/24/2008 (Ongoing Demonstration)

Thomas Growers Bell Peppers treated with a combination of Magna Verno (greenhouse) and Micro Vita (3 applications) as a foliar during week six after transplant.

Plants were randomly selected by grower from an average sampling of peppers of same variety from Mobley Greenhouses at three different transplant dates.
Middle is treated (2 Micro Vita applications to date)
Transplant dates from left to right: 2/29/08 3/05/08 3/12/08 (one week separations)

Fruit and bloom count on treated averaged 34 while on both check (untreated) was 24. Plant stem on treated averaged 13 mm and check 11mm. The larger fruit on earlier check is due to earlier plant date.

Treated leaves in middle averaged 2 1/2 inches in width while untreated 2/29 averaged 2 inches and untreated 3/12/08 averaged 1 1/2 inches.
Grower was impressed by overall plant development (note larger size) and especially bloom count. If plants follow traditional pattern harvest should well exceed 15% yield increase expectation (agreement). Grower found sufficient information from data collection to discuss plans for further plantings with better greenhouse co-ordination for summer season. He also stated that he would meet with Norm Thomas to pursue more collaboration/use of SAC products.

Watermelon - Demonstration
Data Collected on 04/28/2008 (Ongoing Demonstration)
Largest watermelons from 1000 ft measurement.
Treated on left at 4.10 lbs check on right at 3.5 lbs.

Ten 100 foot measurements were made of both treated and check. Treated and check ran on same longitudinal rows. Rows were selected at 5 row intervals. Melons were counted if more than 2 inches in diameter:
